62nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting: Physics

Lindau MeetingIn 2012, the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings and EUSJA will continue their successful cooperation in supporting the participation of science journalists from Europe in this unique event.

Currently, more than 30 Nobel laureates in physics, chemistry and medicine or physiology as well as 550 young scientists from all over the world are expected to attend the upcoming 62nd Lindau Meeting, which takes place on July 1-6.

Major topics, amongst others, will be particle physics as well as the future of energy supply and storage.

For more information on the scientific programme and participants please visit www.lindau-nobel.org. In cooperation with EUSJA, the Lindau Meetings will cover hotel costs (maximum stay four nights) as well as the conference fee.

Travel costs will be reimbursed according to EUSJA’s guidelines. Please understand that we will not be able to cover any further costs.

In order to be eligible you need to be working as a journalist. Freelancers are also eligible if they attend the meeting on assignment by a specific media. Public relations officers of scientific institutions are not entitled to participate.

EUSJA has 8 invitations. Applications as usual – via national associations’ delegates, according to the standard rules: Provide your name, affiliation with media, e-mail and contact telephone in the application.
