EUSJA received an invitation to attend the International Forum Gastein – the most important health policy event in theEuropean Union (October 3 – 6) organized with the support of the European Commission. Different scientific centers are taking part. This year the overall topic will be “Crisis and opportunity? Health in an age of austerity” which promises interesting debates covering many aspects of this complex theme.
In addition to downloading the 1st announcement of the Forum, you may visit also the web page www.ehfg.org with the scientific and social programmes, to read the description of this meeting and remarkable venue – Bad Hofgastein in Austria.
The organizers will provide accommodation for a group of up to 15 EUSJA journalists for the full Congress period (October 3 – 6), will cover the conference fees and offer the meals. The selected journalists must take care of their traveling.
During the event 4 press conferences are planned, and interviews with scientists will be arranged upon the request.
The application will have to be sent via national representatives, as usual.

I am sorry but these scholarships are reserved to members of national science journalists’ associations belonging to EUSJA.
If you belong to a National Science journalists association you might invite them to consider joining EUSJA, to benefit from the next proposals.
