Berlin Science Week


This year again EUSJA is offered a fellowship for 10 selected journalists to attend 2 days during the Berlin Science Week (7 – 8 November) and the Falling Walls Conference (November 9). The programme will start on 7 November at the beginning of the afternoon with a Berlin-Tour that concludes at the ceremony for the Berlin Science Award. On 8 November the journalists will have the possibility to attend Falling Walls Venture/ the Falling Walls Lab or any other public event of the Berlin Science Week and on 9 November the Falling Walls Conference. More details and a list of all events (especially on 7 November) will follow.

The fellowship would add up to 240 EUR per person which corresponds to three nights at a selected hotel (breakfast included, as well as lunch on 8 and 9 November // reception on the evening of 7 November) – the money will be transferred to participants upon arrival in Berlin.

We’ll find out if we could get more slots for those who do not need accommodation, then I shall inform you. But for the moment we have 10 slots. Please spread the information and inform your members. The applications should be sent via national association: name, media, association, e-mail, mobile by 31 August.
