I have just been informed by Connie that David Dickson, whom many of you know for his pioneering work at SciDevNet has died suddenly.
Some of us recently spent time with David at the WFSJ conference in Helsinki and remember he was a knowledgable and dedicated journalist and a good friend and supporter of EUSJA.
This is indeed sad and shocking news and we shall be passing on EUSJA’s condolences to his family and colleagues.

It is a terrible loss for his family, the ABSW (he was an active and dedicated board member) and science journalism.
